In the direct injection engine, diesel fuel is injected directly into the main combustion chamber. This results in more efficient combustion and lower consumption.
The intake port, pistons and injectors have been designed specifically to optimise
the combustion process with respect to noise emission and running characteristics.
Inlet swirl port
The intake port is shaped in such a way that it induces a swirling movement of the intake air and, as a result, produces greater turbulence in the combustion chamber and piston recess.
Piston recess
The shape of the piston recess has been optimised specially for this engine.
5-hole injector
The fuel is injected into the piston recess in two stages and is ignited by the hot air. The two-stage injection process avoids a sharp
pressure rise.

Installation of the 2012 Honda Fit engine block heater installation guide
1. make sure that you have the anti-theft code (if equipped) the navigation unit and the audio system then write to the radio channels.
2. disconnect the negative cable on the battery.
3. allow the engine and all the cooling system components to cool.
4. place a clean drain the entire radiator drain plug underneath the radiator then remove the drain plug on the bottom of the cooling fluid removal. Remove the radiator CAP to increase the flow of information. The coolant will damage the paint. Quickly rinse the spilled coolant painted surfaces.
5. to remove, lift the vehicle's engine splash shield (the screw and three clips).
6. using the 19 mm socket, remove the drain bolt and washer to the engine. The coolant flows out of the hole in the left engine of the jackets, when the plug is removed. Keep the plug; It will be used, if an engine block heater to be removed. Note: use the new washing machine if the drain bolt is installed again.
7. install the aluminium engine block heater with washer to the engine using a 24 mm socket 100 mm (4 inches). The torque of an engine block heater to 60 N · m (44 high pressure). Using extension, more than 100 mm (4 inches) to give you a false torque reading.
8. measure and mark the heater harness step in JavaScript. Install the wire tie Shown in each of the measurements of the heater harness clip.
